I dream. I hope. I pray. For simple things. That no child be denied the right to learn, play, imagine, love and be loved. And mostly for sanity and peace in this world. This project started from a small epiphany in Spring ’05 when I stumbled upon an intriguing combination between a child and a camera, and has turned into part of my lifelong mission to find ways where children, the media and education can intersect and flourish.

If we grown-ups have faltered and failed at dialogue, perhaps conversations of hope and change can be left to the children. And so, “if I had all the money in the world and I knew I couldn’t fail”, I’d give children from different parts of the world a camera to record and share their lives, to understand, experience, and learn from each other. As of now, my funds are modest and the process slow, but I’m going to pretend that it doesn’t matter. I believe.

I invite you to my idealistic world and thoughts, to perhaps see, hear and think something new. And I’d love it if you would participate – comment, question, muse - this is a conversation! It’s the nourishment and fuel that’s needed to thrive.
